Synopsis:

A farcical, time-traveling story set in an ancient forest, Again the Spell uses mistaken identity, lovers at cross-purposes, and faith that inter-human communication is sometimes possible to tell an optimistic tale about personal identity, conviction, and love.

NOTE: All parts are open-race/open-ethnicity. Actors do not have to identify as the listed gender in order to play a part, but the characters do identify as their listed gender.

Characters:

QUEMBLIN (M, 50s-60s) a tree guardian, overworked but loves his job. Can be quirky but will go full-King Lear when pressed.

SISTER LETTICE (F, 40s-60s) a 17th century nun, zealous, compassionate. Eventually drawn romantically to DORIAN.

DORIAN POUNCE (M, 30s) a famous actor, unbound, personal life chaotic. Action hero energy. Eventually drawn romantically to SISTER LETTICE. Pleasant singing voice.
